We have confirmed our candidates for this year's local elections in Richmond Borough

We have now confirmed our candidates for this year’s local elections in Richmond Borough.

Richmond Council has had three Green councillors since 2018. Our team has proven to be a powerful opposition, taking action on the climate crisis, air pollution, social justice and public safety.

As Greens, we only stand in wards where we know our candidates can win. Last year alone 151 Greens were elected nationally.

Our candidates for the local elections are:

  • Kallon Basham – Hampton North
  • Richard Bennett – South Twickenham
  • Niki Crookdake – Mortlake and Barnes Common
  • Andree Frieze – Ham, Petersham & Richmond Riverside
  • Chas Warlow – South Richmond
  • Caroline Wren – Fulwell and Hampton Hill

Having Greens in the room bring changes that make our community a better place to live. We do this through hard work and listening to the people who live here.

Our candidates bring an independent voice, free from control from an overly centralised national party.

If elected, we will continue our work to reduce pollution, support high street businesses, improve local bus services, call for more community policing and much more.
